Pranussadej tantipong

Pranussadej graduated from the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, with a background in Visual Communication Design and Ceramics. His early training across design and material practice continues to inform his interdisciplinary approach to form, surface, and narrative.

Beginning in 2003, he worked internationally in the advertising industry as an Art Director at agencies including JWT Bangkok, McCann Worldgroup, and Leo Burnett Hong Kong, and later as an advertising film director at The Film Factory. His work has been recognized by major international creative awards such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, The One Show, AdFest, and Spikes Asia.

In 2024, he shifted away from commercial image-making to return to ceramics as his primary artistic medium. His current practice explores character-based ceramic sculpture as a site for examining emotional instability, material vulnerability, and repair through both traditional and contemporary ceramic processes.

In 2025, he founded Firework ceramic studio, a practice-led studio focused on developing contemporary ceramic works that operate between sculptural art, material experimentation, and accessible design objects. In the same year, his design Thinker—a benjarong-patterned ceramic lighting collection—was selected by SACIT - The Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand to be included in the SACIT Craft Collection, recognizing the work’s contribution to advancing Thai craftsmanship through contemporary design interpretation.

Pranussadej lives and works in Thailand.
